Is your body able to complete physical activities the way you’d like?
Physical activity is any movement carried out by the muscles that require energy.
Examples of physical activity include; gardening, cutting the grass, dancing, playing a sport for fun, etc. It’s important to add physical activity every day, especially if you have a sedentary lifestyle. For instance, if you have a desk job, make time to stand, or on your lunch break, take a nice walk.
Many physical activities can be hard and strenuous on the body which means having strong, healthy muscles are a must!
A lack of muscle tissue and poor body mechanics quite often lead to repetitive use injuries, strains, and back/neck pain. Exercise such as High Intensity Training will help you increase your muscle mass and prepare your muscles to optimally complete your chosen activity while decreasing the risk of injury.
Exercise is, by definition, planned, structured, repetitive and intentional movement. Exercise is also intended to improve or maintain physical fitness.
Building lean muscle helps increase bone density, manage weight, decrease risk of chronic disease, and improve the quality in which you complete physical activities.
